Hi. I don’t know where to start. John and Tidal wave his company were and still are a blessing from my Lord. One morning in January of this year I went down stairs and stepped in a puddle of water it was flooded. I also passed out. This was the second one in less than a year. I stood there for a minute and just cried. All I could think of was my insurance company may not take care of it a second time even if it was for a different leak. The last claim they paid out $23,000 for the repair of the water heater. This time it was soft tissue problem. Started from the first floor bathroom and the pipe outside the front of the house down to the basement. They took up the flooring in the dining room,bathroom,sitting room and the small hallway and replaced them after the plumbing was fixed. Then all the carpet in the basement where there was two other rooms. I was so scared, all this work. What if they didn’t pay. John kept saying don’t worry about it. But that’s all I could think about. Even Billy , their adjuster kept saying. If John said don’t worry then don’t worry. Anyway. The total came to $47,034.75. My heart and jaw hit the floor at the same time. Once again I called John. When they submitted the claim to the insurance company. The sent a check for $5000.00. I sent the check to Tidal Wave about a week later I got a letter from an attorney. I won’t get into what the letter said but, the long and the short is I was going to lose my house. I was so upset I called John. And told him please I don’t want to lose my house. He Said don’t worry he’ll take care of it. He said call this number do what she advise you to do. Her Name is Ms. Cathy Panagakis. I did what her and John said to do. That was 4 months ago. John and his crew did a wonderful,beautiful job on my home. It was done timely and accurately. I don’t know what I would have done without him. He was all business, but at the same time the kindest person I have ever met. I’m 69 years old. He treated as a person not just a client. He put my mind and soul at ease. Don’t worry he said its going to be ok. I got an email from Cathy yesterday. Great news the insurance company is paying the claim. I cried. Thanked my Lord first the Cathy and John. So if you ever need restoration call Tidal Wave Response and ask for John. I can’t thank him enough. My GOD bless him his family and team.

John Mayer, Principal of Tidal Wave Response, and his project management team, lead by Colin Galubinski, has completed the restoration of my home in record time. The work included, but was not limited to the following: 1) Professional water leak detection 2) Professional plumbing that removed the concrete slab and backfill material, found and repaired the PEX cold water pipe 3) Backfilled and placed concrete to finish grade 4) Packed the furniture to storage. Restored the furniture without incident nor damage. 5) Dehumidified and removed the damaged carpet and hardwoods. 6) Cleaned the concrete surface and installed the new hardwoods. 7) Removed and replaced the sheetrock, base and shoe molding 8) Painted all base shoe molding surfaces 9) Painted all walls that were affected by the water leak. 10) Cleaned the house, including inside cabinets and shelves. The project was completed in a highly professional manner to my complete satisfaction! I would highly recommend Tidal Wave Response for your next restoration project!

I have worked in sales and also have experience in launching my own business. It is rare that you find a company that genuinely has your best interest in mind. Not only was John helpful outside of his business’ expertise, but he sent Chris to do a *free* evaluation of our water damage. John and Chris were both genuine and personable. They cared about what our situation was and they weren’t looking to get any sort of “fee” for their time. These are the kind of people you trust to handle big, catastrophic water damage to. I have previously had to deal with mold (we have 5 kids, young kids), floors being ripped out, islands replaced, commercial cans, etc as if that wasn’t enough I had to deal with deciphering selfish business after selfish business. This is NOT Tidal Wave Response. Chris knew I was worried about the possibility of mold and took the time to show me there was no mold and no issue with such. Those are the kind of people you want to do business with, because let’s face it - when you own a home you’re going to deal with water damage at some point. Chris asked *real* questions, he had no motive for getting a “win,” he was simply here to help. The same goes for John! What company can you contact now and get the direct owner? 10/10 all day long. They will become a first point of contact for anything water damage related!

While others might categorize John as a fast talker, but on the other hand. I saw a man that's passionate about his business and willing to help others elevate their present situation. In early December 2022, our laundry room floor and wall got water damaged due to leakage from the hotline pipe, and other rooms got impacted due to water spreading. So, I reached out to John and he assured me they'll do everything within their power to get our house done before Christmas day. Boy was he right! John and the tidalwave response team were professional, helpful and got our water damage floors dried out through mitigation and walls were fixed and all looking better than before. In addition, all the floors were replaced throughout the whole house in just 2 1/2weeks and we were able to enjoy Christmas day with our family. I'm happy to have listened to John and grateful to the whole team @Tidalwave for helping when all hope was lost.

We did not plan to renovate our terrace level but when the hot water heater leaked and flooded the entire area, Tidal Wave was recommended to us by the plumber who installed the new hot water heater. John, the owner was at our house the same evening and mitigation started early the next morning. The crew professionally removed wet drywall, flooring, and baseboard. Fans and dehumidifiers ran for several days and then the fun began. With Colin's help we were able to choose updated flooring, repaint a color of our choice, and new trim was installed. Everything was completed professionally. If you're ever in an emergency situation from water damage, don't despair. This company will hold your hand through the entire process and make it as easy as possible.

Wow incredible company! I had a water damage that destroyed my entire main level. John and his team are very quick and efficient. When I was looking on google, tidal wave response was the only water restoration company with a 5 star review. Highly recommended using tidal wave response!!

Thank Goodness !!! Johnny on the spot! We had a pipe ruptured in the ceiling and we were looking for a 5 Star Rated Water Restoration company . Johnny came out with a Thermal Camera and found the pipe spraying behind the wall. I wish I would have called him sooner . My wood floors were so damaged by the water, they all will need to be replaced. We highly recommended Johnny with Tidal Wave. Very knowledgeable and even helped us start a claim with our insurance ..

Had a shaky start with this particular project but I must say the owner took charge and corrected all the remaining issues. I will say that this particular job was the absolute worst I have taken on in 45 yrs. My hat is off to Mike and his crew and Allan was superb in making sure everything was done correctly. Unfortunately, my water heater was old, cracked, and leaking water onto the supported area in my garage. I needed to replace the water heater with a new one, but the plumber told me that in order to meet the city code, I would have to handle the water damage first. I called out tidal wave (who I’ve worked with before), and they came out the very next day to cut out the affected area and treat for mold. This is my second issue with water in my house and tidal wave has taken care of both issues. They are fast, reliable, and get the job done correctly. Definitely would recommend!

My Experience with Tidalwave was great. I have already left a review on the dry out they did, but after Collin was really quick to setup the restoration. We had a ruptured water pipe in our kitchen ceiling. They came in and completed the mitigation process fast, so we decided to stay with Tidal Wave to complete the job. John, Mike and Colin were very accommodating. When the LVP flooring that was brought out the first time didn’t match the sample that we were shown, we were able to choose flooring from a source of our choice. That made us feel like we were in control of our own rebuild. I would recommend these guys. They are good at what they do.

I was totally impressed with the professionalism and attentiveness both Colin and John showed toward my Claim/Project. I was made aware of each detail from the start (Mitigation) through the final task (Bathroom Vanity). We agreed on cost to service concessions. Tidal Wave was the second company that I dealt with after we had a slab leak under our hardwood flooring. The first company dropped the ball (and dragged their feet for 3 months) so my insurance adjuster gave me the number of Tidal Wave Response so I gave them a call. Johnny got me scheduled with Billy within 2 days of our initial phone conversation. Billy is very kind and explained the entire process to us in detail. He even shocked me when he said they would only need a week to get the job done! (The other company told me 3 weeks). Everyone I encountered was very kind and professional and they treated our home and belongings with care. They also delivered on their promise of 1 week for completion and I was thrilled! I went upon recommendation with Tidal wave after I had two more restoration companies come out and estimate repairs. Dan pavlenko was amazing. The attention to detail, the promptness, and the professionalism was unmatched. Once the repairs began, Dan was in constant communication so I knew what to expect. He helped guide me through the process and offered great advise on what repairs to make and what additions were possible. Overall I'm am still in awe of how great Dan and Tidal Wave were and will continue to recommend them in any way possible.

ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! I had a tenant from hell who destroyed my home. John, Billy, and their team came in a made the entire process as easy on me as possible. They helped fight with the adjuster/insurance company who was trying to cover less than half of the repair costs. After the eviction of the tenant they helped with the clean up that she left and I was having to handle. They were GREAT at communicating throughout the whole process and worked with my crazy schedule for meeting up. They were understanding of the horror I was going through and really took their time to make the process as easy and painless for me as they could. On top of all that the repair was quick and completed with quality products to the point you wouldn't have known we had to replace all the floors and molding, and repairs to the walls, and ceiling! I really appreciate all their help!

I have never done this, but I am going to post two reviews for this company. The first review that I am posting now is going to be based off of response time, attentiveness, and effectiveness. When I say the bar has been set high… I’ve never had to deal with Remediation companies, but I have only heard the worst and how they can cost you an approval through your insurance for being able to use your benefit. This company since the moment I called my plumber at 10:40 PM on a Wednesday and let them know that I had a Water emergency, has responded within minutes of EVERY point of contact. I contacted my plumber told him I had an issue at 10:40 PM, my plumber said not to panic. He had a great Remediation team and he recommended tidal wave and Mr. John. Mr. Jon was texting me all of the information as well as a link to the company and their reviews on Google Before I ever talked to him on the phone and told me he would be at the address between 8am and 10am the very next morning And not to worry about anything. This contact was based off of my plumber texting him, my information, not me reaching out. He took the initiative to reach out first. Ever since that first conversation, there has not been one time where a text has gone unanswered in a matter of minutes or a ball has been dropped, or I have felt strung along or ignored. I have been helped from the very first step up into this point and with a company that was so confident in what the next steps were, it made me feel comfortable in a situation that I’ve never had to deal with. And they are so coordinated across their team. Everyone is amazing. Mr. Mike , Mr. John, Mr. Collin… All of them, and I am nothing but grateful. They have handled everything up until this point with such a level of professionalism. I wouldn’t even look anywhere else if I ever need the service again. Now my next review will be off of the work that is done and I will show photos of the before and after. I had a freezer line Pop on my refrigerator and it flooded the upstairs and downstairs calling for renovation. The best case scenario is finding people like this. I will be back, this occurrence is covered under my insurance and my agent is talking directly with Mr. Jon, which really makes me feel like I’m in great hands even more so. But I will report back once everything is said and done. So far, I have no worries.

Five stars is not enough. I cannot express the gratitude me and my family have for the quick response, the thorough work, and overall generosity this company showed us through this entire process. We had extensive water damage from our main level, down to our finished basement. This occurred on the night of Christmas Eve. John showed up the next morning, on Christmas Day, and did a preliminary check of all the damaged areas. The very next day he had a team out to remove, clean, and dry all affected areas. Four days later, we meet with Dan, and he begins to plan the repair process. The very next day, we have crew members at our home to begin the repair. I looked at the damage and surely thought this would take a month or months. They were able to repair all damaged areas to better than new in three weeks! The stress of going through this with two little kids, among other items in our home needing to be replaced, was pretty high. However, their diligence and hard-work alleviated a lot of that. The whole time we felt like we weren't just a job, but actual people. I would trust this company every time, to provide great and honest work.

John came out within 2 hours of our call for help. Within 4 hours of him coming out his team was hear ripping up our basement and saving it from mold. I owe them 40k because that's what it would have cost if they didn't help as quick as they did. Will tell all 3 of my friends about them.  Rob also great and so was the team, so professional, so quick.

I had some water damage above my garage after a plumbing incident and was very upset about it. Thankfully Justin and his team at tidal wave made the experience easy and much less of a headache. His team took out the damaged drywall did a full restoration and cleaned up after themselves. Made my damaged ceiling look brand new.

We thought Tidal Wave did great work with our water damage remediation and repair. Everyone who showed up was professional and skillful. We had some challenges with scheduling communications and delays but everyone was generally responsive and helpful. We appreciated that they were a one stop shop that could handle everything for us. Tidal Wave is one of a kind! I had a pipe that burst and they responded the same day! The team lead, Chris, was extremely professional and courteous. He assured me that I would be taken care of and I was totally impressed with their swift response time. The owner, Johnny, called and told me he was sorry I had experienced water damage in my home and also assured me that everything would be fine. Talk about a company that lives up to it`s name! Called them in the morning within an hour Rob a very professional representative showed up at the house and helped me file a claim. Twenty minutes later a crew showed up and began demo. A few hours later Tidal Wave Response had figured out the leak was gone. Everything happened so fast and efficiently. They helped us understand what our insurance covered and guaranteed the demo would be covered by insurance or them. We are so happy to be working with this company and highly recommend them.

What a great company! I called to ask questions and within minutes I was scheduling someone to come to my home and save me from my water damage. Very responsive and the demo crew was amazing and professional!! The repairs to my Kitchen are about to start and I cant wait to see the end result! Thank you Tidal Wave!!

Very, very professional from start to finish. Crew came into my home removed all of the damage items that was damaged by a water leak from the upper level of the home. Worked very fast and cleaned up behind themselves as if they were never there. It was like watch a action movie. Setup the dryers and other equipment very fast also and organized our furniture so that we could get to things as needed. Tidal Wave made a very bad situation feel okay, I`m thankful that we chose you guys. Again thanks for being so professional and responsive

We highly recommend Tidal Wave Response! Johnny came out late last night to assess a failed water heater that flooded our finished basement. He coordinated with Mr. Rooter Plumbing to have a plumber dispatched at 11:45PM who confirmed the water was shut off and put some emergency repairs in place to ensure no further damage would occur. This morning at 7:10 AM (20 minutes earlier than expected) the Tidal Wave Response team was on site at our house. They assessed the damage, and assisted us in contacting our home owners insurance company to create our insurance claim. They preformed the tear out of water damaged materials, setup the ventilation equipment and treated the water damaged area to prevent contamination. All oft his work was completed within 3 hours. Mr. Rooter was pulling in just as the Tidal Wave Response crew was pulling out. The water heater was replaced within 2 hours and we have our water services fully restored. We are completely satisfied with professionalism of Tidal Wave Response. The crew will return in two days to reassess the areas and begin working on the restorations. Tidal Wave Response delivers as promised.

My upstairs bathroom overflowed. The water ran into two of my bedrooms and the hallway. My wife called Tidal Wave and they were at our home in less than an hour. Johnny`s team came out and were very quick and professional. They sucked up the water set equipment and the supervisor explained the process. They even offered to do our repairs and said they would handle it all. My wife and I are very pleased so far. I will make it my business to recommend this company to family and friends. This company is honest, and gets the job done.

So far GREAT!!! They came right out, took out wet walls, cleaned up perfectly (no dust) set up fans. I’m going to use them to put the walls back up and paint too! They are going to meet with my field insurance agent, too, to make sure everything is covered. Fingers crossed they continue to be great!
